Meet the Team
My name is Valerie Hernandez, owner of Essential Patient Care LLC. I am a mother of 4 amazing kids. I am passionate about healthcare, working with the public and caring for others. While I worked as Certified Private Caregiver, I pursued plans and put work into motion to establish Essential Patient Care LLC - a residential living home. I attended Eastern Arizona College and received schooling through Arizona Medical Training Institution in Phoenix, AZ to become a licensed Assisted Living Home Manager, and have licensed two homes in the Gila Valley. I have 10 years of experience in healthcare and schooling. I have experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia residents, and I absolutely love what I do.
Scott has been in the medical field for the last 8 years. He received much of his schooling and training through Eastern Arizona College and AMTI in Mesa. He has experience working with patients with dementia, walker or wheelchair bound, and fully bed bound patients. He also has special skills in the area of working with Alzheimer’s patients and has personal experience caring for his own father who suffered from the disease. He is compassionate, caring, understanding and patient with all of his residents and their families.
